World Class Wreckin’ Cru were originally brought together by a Compton club owner Alonzo Williams as a mobile DJ crew. The group included several members that went on to be stars in their own right: Dr. Dre, Michel’le and DJ Yella. “House Calls” was released in 1987 as pretty much a stand-alone EP featuring the title cut, a cover of Secret Weapon’s “Must Be The Music” and “Cabbage Patch”. The b-side is instrumental versions of the songs on side A.

WOW this is a collectors’ piece here, and no comments?
didn’t blow anyone’s skirt up, I guess…
what happened to the egyptian lover lazer bubbles….your “filter” filtered them out…really sucks…..
Thanks for visiting the blog and taking the time to comment. I hope you will find other records more suitable to your tastes. Take care.
i think you may have your pop filter set a little too high…i’ve noticed on a lot of your rips…it’s mostly the pop on the snares and kicks…twilight 22 siberian nights is one that comes to mind at the moment..there are a few more that i’ve noticed…aside from that …your rips a fantastic!!!
Actually, I have not adjusted the ClickRepair settings at all. They are at the default (recommended) settings which have always sounded fine to me. Maybe me ears aren’t as good as they used to be… old age and treachery are catching up to me.
i’m listening thru headphones…..and i remember when this came out that Dre had sampled the Egyptian Lover’s Lazer Bubbles from Egypt, Egypt….i checkedmy copy…and they’re there….your rip has them extremely muffled….check the vinyl against the rip in headphones….and you can clearly hear it…and like i said your rips are great…keep em commin!!…….
