What Is This? Who Is This? Why Is This? Where Is This? How Is This? These are hard hitting questions that we want answers to! OK, that was just silly… Anyway, this band is very intertwined with the Red Hot Chili Peppers with members such as Hillel Slovak, Jack Irons, Flea and Anthony Kiedis all having associations or membership in both bands at one time or another. In 1985 they released a self-titled album that was produced by Todd Rundgren and featured a cover of The Spinners’ “I’ll Be Around” which got the band into the Billboard Hot 100.
