The Brief:
Vanity’s debut solo album after leaving Vanity 6 is ‘Wild Animal’. The album was produced by Bill Wolfer and Vanity. Credits on the album list Vanity as the composer of all lyrics and melodies with the exception of lyrics by Robert Bruce McCan for “Strap On “Robbie Baby”. Wolfer is credited with composing, performing and arranging all the music. The album spent 25 weeks on the Billboard Hot Black Albums chart and peaked at #14.
