The Brief:
The second long playing solo release by Vanity was 1986’s ‘Skin On Skin’. The first single from the album was “Under The Influence” which would become Vanity’s only Top 10 single on the R&B and Dance charts respectively. One of the song’s co-writers was Robbie Nevil and the remix for the 12” was by John Morales and Sergio Munzibai.

    weren’t Manic Monday n a few others ‘gonna’ be Vanity / Apolonia tracks
    at one time – no?

      Yes, Manic Monday was at one time looked at to be a “6″ group track, there are even some demos floating around on bootlegs out there.

    Hi, I don’t wanna be ungrateful but the filetags state that the first three tracks are from the album Mover. So it seems that this is not a original 12 inch rip. Is this correct?

      No, just poor tag management on my part. “Mover” is the folder that the files were in when they were converted from wav to flac/mp3. Evidently, I didn’t have dbPoweramp set to strip the tags and it auto tagged based on file/folder names. You can be assured these files were ripped and cleaned by me from my original 12″.
