The Brief:
T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli were Tionne Watkins, Lisa Lopes and Rozonda Thomas. The trio TLC originated out of Atlanta, GA and gained success in 1992 selling 4 million copies of their debut LP “Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip”. Even greater success followed with the release of ‘CrazySexyCool’ in 1994 as the album sold over 20 million units worldwide. In between those two albums, the girls contributed a cover of The Time’s “Get It Up” to the Poetic Justice soundtrack in 1993. This 12” release presents us with four different mixes of the track along with a radio edit and the LP version.
