The Brief:
The second of three singles from the 1982 album ‘What Time Is It?’. “The Walk” made its debut on the Billboard R&B Singles chart on 11/20/82. It only made it to #24 on the chart and spent a total of 11 weeks there. It made it up to #104 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles but never entered the Hot 100. Song writing credits on the 45 are listed for The Time.
