The B Side:

The Brief:
Over the course of their career that has spanned nearly half a century, The Rolling Stones have released 29 studio albums, 10 live albums and 31 compilation albums. In 1983, I wrote a term paper on The Rolling Stones, during my senior year of high school. As I recall, the grade I received was less than I felt the paper deserved. Obviously that teacher was a bloody wanker! But, I digress… In 1986, the album ‘Dirty Work’ was released. The first single from the album was “Harlem Shuffle” which went Top 5 in the US. The followup was “One Hit (To The Body)” with special guest Jimmy Page providing guitar work on the track. The song was the Hot Shot Debut for the week of 5/17/86 and managed to go Top 40 but, wasn’t as successful as its predecessor. The 12″ posted today is a release from The Netherlands that contains the London Mix by Steve Lillywhite.

I never cared too much for “Harlem Shuffle”. But, “One Hit (To The Body)” blew my socks off! Such a shame this one didn’t chart higher.
Thanks for posting this 12″, as I’m not familiar with the London Mix.
Thanks for yet another new one you’re introducing me to 8)
I’ve got this single on the massive japanese singles box set BUT…..this is from vinyl!!! I’m almost guarantee this will sound MUCH nicer….BIG THANKS!
Yeah, I prefer the warm crisp sound of a vinyl as opposed to some so-called remasters that equates loud with good.
Thanks for your London Mix, Richie!
btw, maybe your Teacher is a Beatles fan? LOL!
Like it like it like it.
