The Brief:
Today we take a look at the 1994 promo 12” release of “Super Hero” from The New Power Generation. The track was produced, composed and arranged by Prince and recorded by The NPG for the soundtrack to the motion picture Blankman. It failed to chart on any of the major US Billboard charts. Only two of these mixes have appeared on an official CD release, the InDaSoul Mix and the Denair Old Skool Mix.
