I have the 7″ of this and it has the same tracklist!
Thanks for your rip, Richie!
The Fixx and Naked Eyes both had 3 hit singles from their debut albums the same time, and I love them all!
Naked Eyes’ When The Lights Go Out (another awesome NEw Wave single!) was climbing the same time as The Sign Of Fire.
One similarity? Both groups were British.
Another? They were both bigger in the US than in their homeland UK! (Neither had a sniff of even the Top 20!)
That’s the second British Invasion for you back in 1982/1983!
I saw The Fixx in the mid-to-late nineties – supposedly it was most of the original group. The put on a fantastic show. Some girl in the crowd kept on screaming, ‘Cy, I love you!!’ After about 3/4 of the show with her screaming this he invited her on stage to dance beside him. Thanks, Cy!!
