The Brief:
The Clash formed in 1976 and primarily consisted of Joe Strummer (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Mick Jones (lead guitar, vocals), Paul Simonon (bass guitar, vocals) and Nicky “Topper” Headon (drums, percussion). In 1981, “This Is Radio Clash” was released as a stand-alone single and, apart from compilation albums, was never available on any of their studio albums.

I was too young (ahem!) and too far away to truly fathom the whole punk movement in the UK, but I remember being quite fascinated by The Clash back then.
Even though some of their songs are too loud and tuneless (LOL!), I was yet captivated by some others… like Rock The Casbah, Should I Stay Or Should I Go, and this!
Brings back memories… (I bought the 12” back in ’81 – I would blast it & the whole house would shake!) lol. Thanks for an excellent rip.
