On March 3, 2011 Fun With Vinyl took up residence here at djrichiep.com, moving over from the free blog site I was using when I started blogging. In the last year I have made many new friends and traffic here at the blog has steadily increased. I was looking at the blog stats and thought I would share this graph with all of you so you could see how the site traffic has grown:

It’s been a fun year despite the huge bump in the road when Megaupload was shutdown. But, thanks to all of you that generously pitched in and helped out, the blog is now fully self-contained and, hopefully, stable for years to come!
Just wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone for visiting and commenting during the past 12 months and to ask that you continue to visit, please invite friends to join us here and on the Facebook page as well. Enjoy and get it on!

Thanks to you, DJ Richie P. Your blog helped me get excited about retro again. These 12″ would never have been exposed and/or supported by the record companies. MUCH APPRECIATED!!
Now now, all the thanks should be being given *to* you – your blog is an incredible resource. Well-done all ways round. =)
Dear Richie , all your hard work is sure helping a lot of guys like myself ( living in Greece ) who never had the chance to listen to most of the stuff that you are posting here since most US 12” VLS that did get to arrive here were the most commercial stuff – at least that how it was when i was an aspiring DJ during the early 80′s buying all the vinyl i could afford with my allowance !
Your collection is amazing and i have no words really to thank you
Keep going and keep the good stuff coming – the 80′s will never die !
Christos
Thank YOU so much Rich
Thanks so much…but ya gotta have that horizontal time graph moving left to right. It is killing the math teacher in me.
LOL!
I was wondering the same thing and thought why did the traffic flow decreasing initially!
But having said that, I want to offer my most sincere thanks to you, Richie and the fun-family for your time, love and effort here.
I’m feeling very important now looking at the graph, like some member in the board of directors! Ahem!
As a fellow math teacher, I agree with Sean — the descending horizontal axis is disturbing. But I assume it was generated by the hosting site, not Richie.
Yeah, it’s just a screen capture from the site stats. I’m innocent I tell ya! Innocent!
