The Brief:
Sometime in 1983 I read in a Billboard magazine that “the Talking Heads new album ‘Speaking In Tongues’ was the best dance album since Prince’s ‘1999’”. Of course, I had to run out and get that! And, they were right! This 12” is a double A-sided single from the ‘Speaking In Tongues’ LP. Well, actually, there’s a This Side and a That Side. Both sides received the remixing treatment from David Byrne and John “Jellybean” Benitez. No chart success for these two tracks but, damn sure should have been.
