The Brief:
Switch got their start in the late ‘70s, recording for the Gordy record label, a subsidiary of the Motown label. Two members of the band were Bobby and Tommy DeBarge who had some brothers and sisters who went on to a successful recording career of their own. This 12” was put out by Total Experience Records in 1984. It charted on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart, debuting on 5/12/84. It spent 15 weeks on the chart and reached a top position of #55.
