The Brief:
This song is a permanent fixture on my iPod’s Funk playlist. Released as a single in 1981, “Time” entered the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart on February 6, 1982. It stayed on the chart for 10 weeks and reached the #55 spot. This 12” was mixed at Right Track studio in NYC by Tee Scott, a well known American DJ and remixer of the disco era.
