The Brief:
In 1985, Stevie Wonder released his 20th album entitled ‘In Square Circle’. The LP topped the Hot Black Albums chart for 12 weeks and contained three songs that reached #1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts including the track on today’s 12”. “Go Home” has the dubious distinction of being the last Stevie Wonder single to reach the Top 10 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Additionally, it spent two weeks at #1 on the Hot Dance/Disco charts.

Funkier than the fluffy Part Time Lover and the saccharine I Just Called.
And with a serious message to boot too! Asking the young girl who is making all the advances to “go home”. How noble!
Stevie was really conquering all those Billboard charts back in the 80s!
Thanks for another vinyl replacement, *gulps cup of kwaaafeee*, “Richie”!
Definitely my fave of the three singles from In Square Circle.
Thank you
Wooo, this extended Go Home is Ridiculous! Love it!
