The Brief:
Stacy Lattisaw recorded her first album for Cotillion Records at the age of 12 in 1979, under the direction of record producer Van McCoy (“The Hustle”). By 1986 and still technically a teenager, she released her eighth studio LP, this time on the Motown Records label. The first single chosen to promote the LP is the John “Jellybean” Benitez produced track “Nail It To The Wall”. Naturally, the remixes on this 12” were done by Jellybean as well.
