The Brief:
Skyy were primarily an R&B band that enjoyed some crossover pop success during their career. From the mid to late 80′s Skyy’s career was floundering but, in 1989, after signing to Atlantic Records, Skyy came back with the release of their extremely successful ‘Start of a Romance’ album. The title track was one of two songs from the LP to top the R&B singles chart. This 12″ is the promo release of “Start Of A Romance”.
