The Brief:
The first of three singles from Sheena Easton’s fifth album ‘Best Kept Secret’. Released in 1983, “Telefone (Long Distance Love Affair)” went to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, climbed to #15 on the Adult Contemporary chart and managed only #84 on the UK chart. The song was written by Sheena’s producer Greg Mathieson along with Trevor Veitch. Remixers were Rusty Garner and Greg Mathieson.
