Ahh…how I love this song, and the Shep Mix and Dub! And, to think, I never knew it existed until The World Of Sheena Easton – The Singles Collection came out in 1993. Then, to see No Sound But A Heart in that CD’s booklet. What?! An album I didn’t know existed for Sheena. All this, before the days of the internet and eBaying. What was I to do, but wait?

Fast forward to sometime late 90s, when I scored this 12″ Single from an eBay auction. I immediately fell in love with Shep’s Mix. Shocker the single did nothing, even with Prince’s name attached. “Preena” was such a beautiful combination, I loved all of their collaborations. Then, the One Way NSBAH reissue came along. I was a bit disappointed in the album at first listen, and when comparing it to her next LP, The Lover In Me, I kind of understood why the album was pulled in the U.S., but was so glad to have the opportunity to finally hear it. Since then, it’s grown on me a bit. But, TLIM is still my fave Sheena LP to date (with “101″ being my fave “Preena” moment).

Thanks for this, Richie, as I am certain it is in much better quality than my own rip. :)

Never knew there was a 12″ for this jam, thanks a lot for the post!

By the way, do you happen to have the 12″ of “Days Like This” which was produced by Babyface?
