The Brief:
Rythm Syndicate were a Connecticut based R&B band that released their eponymous debut album in 1991. “P.A.S.S.I.O.N.” was the first single from the LP and it was the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Power Pick/Airplay track of the week on June 8, 1991 at #49. The single made it all the way up to #2 on the chart but was kept out of the top spot by Bryan Adams who was in the midst of a 7 week stay at the #1 spot with “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”.
