you’re welcome RD
“red dirt”? that anything to do with the cool country music that comes out of the Oklahoma/Texas area?
I had this 12″ in high school. I was obsessed with it even more than “Oh Sheila”.
it is a very good 80s R&B tune
Hey richie, we are all waiting for oh sheila 12???
Surprisingly, that is one I don’t have in my collection at this time…
these MCA 12 inches were so useful to djs back in the day. the always had an extended version with intro & a break, bonus beats and an acapella. it was always great to throw this digital display acapella over your favorite “planet rock-esque” 130bpm song of the moment. thanks for providing a forgotten song
very cool, you’re welcome
This was a jam I nearly forgotten about. Thanks so much for this quality rip!
djrichip you should defiantly get Ready For The World – Mary Goes ‘Round 12” 1987 & Oh Sheila 12” 1985. There Both Great!!!
I have been really getting into Ready For The World thanks to you site and I was wondering if you can look for Mary Goes ‘Round 12” 1987 I have a link for the 12” info on discogs below. I have been listening to so much music lately I don’t have much space on my computer anymore hah and I have to say your site is one of the few left that I can find stuff that I like so thanks and keep up the great work I really appreciate what your doing.

I love how RFTW has acapella & extended and instrumentals in there vinyls because its great for remixing and mash-ups.
MCA Records, they were really good about putting all those different tracks on their 12 inchers.
