The Brief:
Quarterflash formed in 1980 in Portland, Oregon and consisted of husband and wife Marv and Rindy Ross, Jack Charles, Rick DiGiallonardo, Rich Gooch and Brian David Willis. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1981. It reached #8 on the Billboard 200 and sold over a million copies, earning RIAA gold certification on February 5, 1982, and platinum status on June 29, 1982. “Find Another Fool” was the second single from that album. This promo 12” showcases a live recording of “Find Another Fool” that was “Recorded live January 30, 1982 at Charlie Daniels’ Volunteer Jam VIII”. On the flip side is the third single from the ‘Quarterflash’ LP “Right Kind Of Love”.

After the monster that is Harden My Heart (#13 for Billboard’s year end Hot 100), I’d expected this to be another Top 10 AT LEAST, and I love the song loads. But only #16…sigh…
