The Brief:
“Rush Rush” was the first single from Paula Abdul’s ‘Spellbound’ LP and the fifth of six consecutive singles of Paula’s to hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The single was the Hot Shot Debut at #36 the week of 5/11/91 and was the Power Pick/Sales & Airplay track for the week of 5/18/91 at #23. The song did not receive a 12″ issue in the US so, what we have here is a 7″ single with the edit version and backed with a really cool dub mix from Keith “KC” Cohen.
