The Brief:
Patrice Rushen is a classically trained pianist who signed her first recording contract with Prestige Records in 1974. After three album releases, she caught the eye of the major labels and signed a deal with Elektra Records in 1978. “Feels So Real (Won’t Let Go)” is from the LP ‘Now’ which turned out to be her final album for Elektra.
