    Thank you

Be thankful you only got the stamp, Richie.
Where I came from back then, there was even handwritten serial numbers on the label, for “proper record library archiving”..ughs!

yeah, but… the day he came in and went on his tear of stamping records, he got hold of a stack of my personally owned records I had there to play and stamped them too! guess that’s why I gripe about him and his stamp so much, otherwise, he was a great guy that I really enjoyed “working” for

  3. NouveauDance says:

Thanks Richie, Art of Defense is a great album, one of my favourites – I think she should’ve been bigger solo than she was. :)

    • djrichiep says:

she was, well still is, a unique talent. Like you, I really don’t know why she didn’t fare as well as her former group member Patti. Both great vocalists…

  4. Johan Olsson says:

    Thank you!

This 12” has a whole 2 seconds on the ‘LP’ version I have LOL
    There must’ve been another 12”-er has I got running times of 7”-03.53 – instrumental-04.39 + 12” of 05.42 !
But as any Funk Fan knows there oodles of ‘Extended Mixes’ out there, that are Shorter than the LP/Full Length/Whatever The Con This Week Is Mix !
I’d only be annoyed if I’d Shelled out £7.49 + for a promo+ or import
    ”back in the day”
Or defending the ‘Artistes’ – is this from the ‘I can’t be Arsed Marketing Division’ ?????

  6. Jason63 says:

Thanks Richie. Didn’t have this one.
