The Brief:
Following up the Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced “Why Should I Cry”, Nona Hendryx stuck with the Minneapolis formula and released the track “Baby Go-Go” which was written by Joey Coco (better known to most people as Prince). This track was produced by Dan Hartman and Hendryx. The 12” release features mixes by Mark S. Berry and Chris Lord Alge. Also included is a Mic Murphy and David Frank produced track, “Drive Me Wild” in an extended “Single Version”.
