The Brief:
An electro classic from 1983. With sped up vocals, reminiscent of the Chipmunks, and a funky electro beat, Newcleus created quite a buzz in 1983 with this song. The song was originally released as “Jam-On’s Revenge” and then re-released as “Jam On Revenge (The Wikki-Wikki Song)” on Sunnyview Records. My release is the Sunnyview version. I wasn’t even aware of the original release, maybe I need to hunt that one down…
