The A Side:

Fishnet (Edit) 3:58

The B Side:
Maybe 4:10

The Brief:
Morris Day went back into the studio after his ‘Color Of Success‘ album had run its course and began work on the followup. Morris enlisted his former bandmates Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to produce and co-write two tracks, “Fishnet” and “Love Is A Game”. The remaining nine songs were produced by Morris with help from his wife Judith. The first single released from ‘Daydreaming‘ was the Flyte Tyme produced “Fishnet” which became the highest charting song of Morris’ solo career. On the flip side of this 7″ single is the track “Maybe” a non-album b-side credited to Morris and Judith. “Maybe” is an all time favorite tune of the Fun-wife.

I bought it the day of my first date with my wife. She didn’t wear fishnet but you can’t have everything.

Never been a B-side person myself, but since this comes with high recommendation, it is worth checking out then. Thanks Richie and the Fun Wife!
