The Brief:
“Just Another Night” is the highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 for Mick Jagger as a solo artist (I am not counting the duets he did with The Jacksons and David Bowie). The track is from his 1985 solo debut ‘She’s The Boss’. The song was produced by Jagger and Bill Laswell and recorded at Compass Point Studios, Nassau, Bahamas. Remix on the 12″ done by Francois Kevorkian and Ron St. Germain with additional overdubs by Arthur Baker. It was the Top Debut song on the Cash Box Top 100 the week of Feb 9, 1985.
