The Brief:
Singer/guitarist Michael Cooper is a founding member of the band Con Funk Shun. The band recorded and toured together from 1973 until their breakup in 1986. Following the breakup of the band Michael recorded and released a solo LP entitled ‘Love Is Such a Funny Game‘. The lead single from that LP was “To Prove My Love” and it was produced by the team of Denzil Foster, Thomas McElroy, and Jay King; the trio noted for the success of Timex Social Club and Club Nouveau.
