The Brief:
Margie Joseph cut some demo recordings in 1967 at the famed Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. By 1971, her first album was released on the Stax Volt label. In 1983, her ninth studio album, ‘Knockout’, was released on the Houston Connection Recording Corporation label and featured the title track as a single.
