The Brief:
Today’s post wraps up the series on Prince’s jazz project, Madhouse, with the 12” release of the track “Thirteen”. Featured on this release is “The Paisley Park Mix” and the non-album track “Thirteen and ¼”.
Chartwise, the “8” LP reached #107 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart and peaked at #25 on the Hot Black albums chart. On the other hand, I found no record of the “16” album on the Billboard charts.
To my knowledge, this series is a complete collection of all the single versions from the two officially released Madhouse LPs. If I’ve missed anything, let me know…

Good lord your taking me waaaayyy back. I have the albums and also had the singles for 6 and 13. Gave them away back in 1992 or something. No idea why cause I loved this era of Paisley Park. Thank you once again for the hard work
