The Brief:
Klymaxx were Bernadette Cooper, Lorena Porter, Joyce Irby, Cheryl Cooley, Lynn Malsby and Robbin Grider. Cooper was the driving force behind the band and the chief songwriter. The track “Sexy” was the second single released from their self-titled fifth album from 1986. The song was co-produced by George Clinton.
