The Brief:
The first time the Fun-wife and I ever saw Kid Rock was on the pay per view broadcast of Woodstock ’99. He had Joe C up on stage rapping and running around, cussing up a storm. We had no idea the guy was 25 years old, we thought he was a little kid. We were disgusted and appalled that Kid Rock was letting this little kid cuss and act like that on stage! Later we learned more about Joe C and figured out he wasn’t a little kid, just a short person. It’s funny as hell now but, at the time, we were horrified! LOL
Robert James Ritchie had actually released three full length LPs on various record labels prior to signing a deal with Atlantic Records and releasing his breakthrough album ‘Devil Without a Cause’. The first three singles released from the album failed to generate much buzz on the charts but, the fourth single, “Cowboy”, became Kid Rock‘s first single to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The success of “Cowboy” helped propel the album to sales of over 11 million copies. This promo 12” features remixes by The Neptunes. I purchased this record because the Fun-wife is now an avid fan of Kid Rock. She wasn’t very enamored with the remixes and neither was I. Your mileage may vary…

Rich,
Looks like the the only link still working is Megaupload just to let you know
Well, isn’t that just great? Wonder what the heck is going on?
OK, I re-upped the files through Multiupload so, maybe the links will work now. I think I may know what is going on, I uploaded a large batch of RAR files a while back that have just been sitting there with no activity. I’m thinking that maybe after a period of inactivity the files start dropping off the servers? Guess I need to pull everything I uploaded that I haven’t used yet and upload them when I’m ready to post. We’ll see how that goes.
