The Brief:
1993 was the 20th anniversary of KC and the Sunshine Band‘s founding as a group. The record label ZYX released “The Official Bootleg “Megamix” in honor of that milestone. The 12″ being posted tonight is a 1999 re-release of that megamix along with the Club Mix of “Give It Up”. The megamix consists of 10 songs previously released by the band: That’s The Way (I Like It) / (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty / Get Down Tonight / I’m Your Boogie Man / Keep It Comin’ Love / Please Don’t Go / Rock Your Baby / Gimme Some / Give It Up / Boogie Shoes.
