The Brief:
Former lead singer of The Babys and Bad English with a solo career in between the two. “Missing You” arrived on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on June 23, 1984 at the #89 spot. It captured the #1 spot on September 22, 1984 where it stayed for one week before being knocked off by Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy”. After hitting #1 it began its way back down the charts ending its run at #96 in its 24th week on the chart. Remixing on this 12” was done by John Luongo.
