The smash hit that made Jermaine a household name. Lifted from his 1986 sophomore release, ‘Frantic Romantic’, “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off” dropped in on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart on 2/16/86, climbed to #64, and hung around on the chart for 15 weeks. Even greater success was enjoyed on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart. It bowed at #90 on 5/17/86, danced its way to #5 while enjoying a 22 week stay on the chart. The song was “Written, Produced, Reduced and Arranged” by Narada Michael Walden. Additional production and mix by Lewis A. Martinee.
