The Brief:
Jermaine Jackson was the last member of the Jackson family to record for Motown and the final LP he released for the legendary label was ‘Let Me Tickle Your Fancy’ in 1982. The title track was noted for the odd collaboration of Jermaine with Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale of Devo. The combination worked, garnering Jermaine a Top 20 pop hit and a Top 5 R&B hit.

I am seriously loving your 1982 walk down music’s memory lane. It was five years after I religiously became a chart watcher and pop music follower and you can see the exciting change in music trends The British Invasion and the New Romantic Movement.
And even Jermaine ended up doing some New Wave!
Thanks for this full version, Richie!
I loved this song in the 80′s! What ever happened to Jermaine’s career!
