The A Side:
Fast Girls (Specially Remixed Version) 6:59
The B Side:
French Blue 6:22
The Brief:
Janet Damita Jo Jackson was born May 16, 1966. 362 days after yours truly was born. She and I are practically brother and sister! LOL! There’s not much to be said about Ms. Jackson that hasn’t already been printed ad infinitum over the years. Today’s 12″ is “Fast Girls”. A song produced by Jesse Johnson for Janet’s ‘Dream Street’ LP. This promo copy contains the Specially Remixed Version on the A-Side and another Jesse produced track “French Blue” on the B-Side. “French Blue” did not appear on an album.
