The Brief:
The first of four singles released from Information Society’s self-titled 1988 LP. It was their first Top 40 hit. It entered the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart on July 16, 1988 at #90. It spent 24 weeks on the chart reaching a peak of #3. It hit the Hot Dance/Disco chart for 7 weeks and shot all the way to #1. It also went to #10 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.
