Love Herb, love this 12″ and the video as Jerome Benton features in it. I bought the UK double pack back in the day and I still love it.

  2. rocksteady says:

    Oh I meant vinyl…

1st 12″ is as above, 2nd came as a free 12″ in the regular Breakout sleeve with Cat. no. USAF602:

A: Keep Your Eye On Me (Manic Mix) 7:35
    B: ” ” (Dub Mix) 5:40

Both mixes by Jam & Lewis.

I was always a massive fan of Alpert as when I was younger and growing up in Trinidad ‘Rotation’ was played everyday on the radio as a drive time theme (5 or 5.30pm) long before the days of Mtv. I then moved to London and the first time I remember seeing him on tv was with video for this track which included some musical idols like Jam, Lewis and Benton from The Time.

You’re doing a great job by the way, keep putting them up and the ‘likes’ will come.

Oh, OK, so yeah, I have posted both of those records here, cool. One of my motives for boosting the Like count is because I use dlvr.it for automated posting to FB. The higher the Like count a page has, the more priority it gets in the automated posting schedule…

  3. Marlon says:

Ok, cool. Keep up the good work.

  4. rocksteady says:

Ha! Just realised I’m using two names to post here.

  5. Sarah says:

Thanks for this, loved the trio of hits that Jam & Lewis produced off this album. I’ve been trying to get a decent rip of the UK 7″ mix of Diamonds but can’t find anywhere on compilations etc. Was the best mix IMO.
