I just wanted to say that I thank my lucky stars that I run into your site, I am old enough to remember the pleasure of waiting for new releases day (or night) and grab a copy of the song or album of the moment, Sometimes wander from record store to record store trying to get a sold out copy of a gem.
I lost all my collection of LPs, 45s and 12″ singles about a few years ago and since then I have been trying to replace them with CDs, unfortunately some of them never made it to the new format and for those that did, with a few exceptions, it has not been the same, dull sound or not all the mixes (or different mixes) available. So that is why a site like yours fill the gap -for people like me- of the never ending process of recovering the “soundtrack” of our lives.
From the Bottom of my heart… Thank You!
P.S. Do you have in your collection General Public’s Tenderness 12″, Debarge’s Rhythm of the Night 12″ or Robby Benson’s Blue Balloon (The Hourglass Song) 7″ (from the “Jeremy” Movie Soundtrack). If you do and happen to find a chance to add it to you list I’ll be always thankful.

I can only imagine the heartbreak I would feel if I lost my music collection, I really feel for you on that. I hope you are able to find some things here on the blog to replace what you lost. And, as a matter of fact, I do have two of the records you asked about but, not the Robby Benson record. Have to admit, I’ve never heard or heard of that one.
Thanks for your kind reply. I’ll be looking forward to find those 12 inch in your site at some point in the future.
By the way, give a listen to the Robby Benson song at “http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEFWIVjqCZc&feature=related” there are several versions floating around but they are mostly rips from the audio track of the movie but the one I am sending you the link is the original 7 inch (the backside was Glynnis O’Connor singing “Jeremy”) maybe you like it as much as me.

Love love this Hall & Oates single, and was expecting this single to hit #1 or at least the Top 3 on the back of their mega Out Of Touch.
Arthur Baker did good job with their remixes…hot!
Thanks for this wonderful promo. Great song! However, track 1 gives a CRC error when unpacking. Can you please fix it?
I forgot to say that I’m talking about a CRC error in the FLAC post.
$#!+&@**@$$! Try it now…
It’s ok now, thanks!
Thank you for this! I’ve always thought this was one of the better songs of their pop era, and it’ll be good to finally have a decent version of it!
A Hall & Oates post is always a good thing. Thanks a ton!
