The Brief:
By 1988, the hits machine that Hall & Oates had been was starting to show signs of wear. The album ‘Ooh Yeah!’ charted lower and sold fewer copies than the duo’s albums from earlier in the 80s. Despite that “slippage” the album was still certified as a platinum seller and produced three more Top 40 singles. The first of those singles was ‘Everything Your Heart Desires’ which was the Billboard Power Pick/Sales track the week of 5/7/88. However, it did turn out to be the last Billboard Top 10 hit for the duo that rang up 29 Top 40 hits during their career.
Here’s wishing you a FUN weekend and a reminder that next week is International Magic Week…

I am having a problem opening the RAR file. The password is not working properly, and will not finish the “unstuff”. Do you have any suggestions on what I should try next. Could the RAR file be damaged?
Thanks.
Hello richiep. Please disregard the previous reply. After downloading the RAR file the fourth time, I was able to “unstuff” it. I have no idea what the problem was.
Great Hall & Oates posts! Thanks!
Good deal, glad you got it working. Some times things just get hung up on these here internets and you have to just keep digging at it. Hope you enjoy the record…
The last H&O top 10 single! Fantastic rip – thanks, as always!
The version of Realove on this 12″ is, I think, pretty unique; the album version fades into another track. One of their more Prince-influenced songs, stylistically.
Thanks Richie. Didn’t have this one.
