The second single from Hall & Oates’ ‘Rock ‘n Soul Part 1’ greatest hits collection, like its predecessor, was the highest debut song the week it hit the Billboard Hot 100 and the Cash Box Top 100. It went on to be the 13th Top 10 single for the duo that eventually racked up a total of 16 Top 10 pop hits.

Thanks for this! I suppose Adult Education is the lesser sibling of Say It Isn’t So on their first greatest hits album, but it’s still one of their best singles of the era.
And oh, what an era. Hall & Oates were amazing singers, but they wrote and produced all those great songs too. They were just on fire between 1980 and 1985.
