The Brief:
In the late 70’s, Reggie Griffin and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds were members of a funk outfit called Manchild. Reggie has stayed busy over the years as a session musician working with Candi Staton, Grandmaster Flash, Chaka Khan, Joan Jett, Shirley Jones and many others. In 1982 he formed Reggie Griffin and Technofunk and released a well known track entitled “Mirda Rock”. By 1984, the group was simply called Griffin and the single “Throw Down” was released to moderate success on the charts.
