The Brief:
Canadian born singer Gino Vannelli signed to A&M Records and released his first album in 1973. In 1985 his seventh album of original material hit the shelves. The album was ‘Black Cars’ and this single is the title track that was the first of three to be released from the album. In addition to hitting the US charts, “Black Cars” also went to #4 on the Canadian Singles chart.
