The Brief:
George Benson has won 10 Grammy awards over the course of a recording career that began in 1964 and continues today with a new CD titled ‘Guitar Man’ slated for release October of 2011. In 1976, George signed with Warner Brothers Records and by 1983 was releasing his fifth LP for the label. The album was ‘In Your Eyes’ and “Inside Love (So Personal)” was one of five singles released from the LP. It appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 14, 1983 as the highest debuting song of the week.
