The Brief:
General Kane was an R&B group fronted by the late Mitch McDowell. “Girl Pulled The Dog” was a 1987 single released from their second LP entitled ‘Wide Open’. This single pulled on to the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart on July 11, 1987 and reached the #33 spot in the midst of a 12 week stay on the chart.
