The Brief:
Full Force are an R&B group probably more notable for their production and songwriting work for other artists as they are for their own recordings. The group produced and wrote music for UTFO, Doctor Ice, Samantha Fox, Patti LaBelle, Jasmine Guy, The Force M.D.s, Ex Girlfriend, Britney Spears, James Brown, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Backstreet Boys, La Toya Jackson, and Selena. Their first album was released in 1985 and simply titled ‘Full Force’. The single “Alice, I Want You Just For Me” was the first single from the LP. The album peaked at #160 on the Billboard 200 and #29 on the Hot Black Albums charts. The group refers to themselves as “the original hip hop vocal band”.

Full Force Get Busy 1 Time! Thanks so much for this, hope there’s more Full Force coming soon!
You’re welcome. I have more Full Force but, it will be quite some time before it will be ready for the blog.
In the place to be!
They did such great work with Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam (I Wonder If I Take You Home and Can You Feel The Beat and All Cried Out) up till then and not even a sniff of the Hot 100 with this? *rolleyes*
Thanks for those special mixes, Richie…and would you have Bang Zoom Let’s Go Go as well?
You’re welcome, Ric but I don’t think I have Bang Zoom
Lovely stuff, as always!
Thank you VC!
Thanks!
you’re welcome
Full Force is criminally under-appreciated!!!
Any more FF you have would be great! I’ve been collecting all of their CD reissues (with all the remixes) but would love to have some more of their remixes in your great vinyl sound.
