In 1983, the “sequel” to the movie Saturday Night Fever was released in movie theaters nationwide. The film was called Staying Alive and it featured the song “Far From Over” by Sylvester Stallone’s younger brother Frank Stallone. This promo 12” from 1983 features the Club Mix and Instrumental.

Saturday Night Live’s Norm MacDonald used to include Frank Stallone’s name as an odd punchline for jokes on his Weekend Update segment:

“And, finally, the votes are in and Entertainment Weekly has chosen its Funniest Man Alive. And who is the Funniest Man Alive? You guessed it — Frank Stallone! … Congratulations, Frank Stallone!”

“And the British Sunday Times is reporting that Belgian doctors have accidentally cloned a human being. The human being? You guessed it — Frank Stallone.”

“And finally, the number one selling doll this Christmas is Tickle Me Elmo. And the least popular selling doll? You guessed it: Tickle Me Frank Stallone.”
